U.S. Coast Guard Cutterman Scroll Saw Pattern.

Okay I'll have to admit that I did not know what a cutterman was when I was ask to do this pattern. As you know I have been working to update my military pattern selection. I have had several emails with suggestions. Let me know if I make a mistake or overlook something on these patterns. My knowledge of the military is not that strong as I never served.

This one is a small sign 10.5" X 6".

Now I know that a cutterman is a crew member of a Coast Guard Cutter. A cutter in the Coast Guard is any ship over 65 feet in length. The Coast Guard is both a military force and federal law enforcement agency dedicated to maritime safety, security and stewardship missions. They enforce federal law on the high seas, coastal waterway and inland waterways. It is one of the oldest organizations of the federal government and even predates the Navy.

To all the Coast Guard Cuttermen out there I say thank you for your service.
