Laptop/Tablet Stand Scroll Saw Pattern.

I needed a stand for my Surface Pro 3 Laptop/Tablet. I often hook it up to an external monitor and wireless keyboard/mouse. This stand will keep it from taking up so much room on my side desk.

I don't recommend this stand for a full size laptop unless you make the feet wider. It will get top heavy and might fall over. It should work fine for Ultra-Books, Convertibles and Tablets. When you glue and screw the walls to the feet use you device to set the space between the walls. You want a snug but not tight fit. Make sure you glue and screw the feet. There is quite a bit of stress on the walls.

If you want a softer surface for the covers to contact you might line the side walls with felt.
