Wedding Guest Book Tree Scroll Saw Pattern.

I'm no wedding expert but my wife and daughter tell me these wedding tree guest books are popular right now. If you are unfamiliar, as I was, here is how it works. As the guests arrive they sign an individual leaf. After the wedding the bride and groom have a beautiful wooden keepsake to hang on the wall.

The pattern book includes the branches and leaf pattern. You will size and make the backer board and frame yourself. The leafs are cut from 1/8" thick Baltic birch plywood. You can cut as many as you need but the one above has ~75. The trunk is cut from 1/4" thick Baltic birch plywood. It will be ~16" tall.

In the example above the backer board is 20" X 25". I simulates a a simple frame cut from 3/4" hardwood boards similar to a shadow box.

The name can easily be designed on a word process to your liking.

After cutting the leafs, coat them with spray lacquer and test the fine point marker you plan to use to make sure there is no bleeding or poor transfer of the ink.
