Pray for the flood victims in Louisiana and Mississippi.

Here is a quick project you can make out of a few scraps of cutoffs. The brass holders on top are finger pulls for a sliding door. Even though we never want to use real tea light candles they still add a decorative touch. Here is a link to the brass finger pulls.

WARNING: These stands are not to be used with real candles. Please be safe and always use battery operated tea lights. Here is a link to battery operated tea lights. They are not that expensive and are not going to be a safety hazard.

Flood Relief:
The pictures and video coming out of the south are heartbreaking. Some places have had 30 inches of rain in three days. Just watch this video of these heroic men rescuing a woman and her dog trapped in a sinking car. This lady was lucky but others have not been so fortunate. They need help.

If you can help they sure need the it. Here is a link for information in ways you can give a helping hand. If you donate you can specify that the money goes to flood relief in the area affected.Of course if you are close they need volunteers now and during the cleanup that will come later.
