This is a fidget spinner. What does it do you may ask? It spins. Believe it or not these toys are very popular right now. Do an Amazon, Etsy or Ebay search and you will find many of them made out of all kinds of materials. Check this Etsy Link for samples. The better ones sell in the $100 range. I made this one for around $4. It would sell in the $10 range. Don't laugh. Remember pet rocks? At least this does something. :)
The wood is 1/4" Baltic birch plywood. The bearings are skate board bearings. I bought a pack of eight for $7 at this link. Skate Bearings. After you cut the spinner just use a two part epoxy to set the bearings in place. Be careful not to get the epoxy on the race of the center bearing. Use wax paper so you don't epoxy your spinner to your work bench.
This one is for larger hands. Just shorten the tips an equal amount for smaller hands. Just try to keep it balanced. If you want I can make one much smaller. The gap between the bearings can be shortened. You can use anything for weights. I used the extra bearings because they are heavy.
If you happen to have a CNC machine you can make these out of aluminum. Then use very high quality ceramic skate board bearings for a vicious fidget spinner.
