I use the following image of Sitting Bull to design the pattern. I broke the pattern up over three pages so it has to be taped together after it is printed out.
Here is a closer look. I left the board unfinished for now. I have not decided if I will just apply spray lacquer or the same light oak stain I used on the wedding box. I'm leaning toward the golden
As you can see from the next picture it is a large board. Using a spiral blade allowed me to leave the board horizontal for the entire cut. The larger table of the Seyco ST-21 held the board easily without additional support. If your saw has a smaller table you may want to rig up a side support table. A roller stand also works great for this additional support.
I worked from left to right and because there really are not that many interior cuts it only took about three hours to finish. I used #5 and #3 spiral blades. The #3 let me get sharper points in the smaller areas. The #5 was used in the larger areas just to speed up the cut.
I wanted a backer board and had planned to paint some Baltic birch plywood. I notice a piece of fake wood paneling I had in the corner and decided to use that instead. I nailed it on the back and added a saw tooth hanger to the top.
