I have to admit that this was a failed project. What I was trying to achieve was a spiral effect of the rings as to look at it from above. This is accomplished by rotating the rings a few degrees when you glue the basket back together. Ummmm, no workee.
I was going to throw it out and try again but my wife saw it. She did not know what I was trying to achieve. She liked it. At least that's what she said. :)
I decided to post it anyway and just let you decide. That's the good thing about giving patterns away. No one ever wants their money back. :)
When you stack the rings you can try to get the spiral effect or just rotate every other ring half the distance of each node. As a last resort you can stick two rods in the ground and play ring toss. The smaller rings are worth more points.
