I am a gamer to some degree. I would play more if I had more time but this blog keeps me busy most days.

Artistry in Wood Show
I'm in Wilmington Ohio at the Artistry in Wood Show. I found out today that they do not allow video on the show floor. I'm not sure if they will allow photos but I'll ask tomorrow. Today(Friday) was setup day.
The photo above shows the size of the show floor. It's huge. I hope I am allowed to take a few pictures during the show. If not I'll do my best to describe what I see.
The show is primarily woodcarving but there is a fair amount of scroll saw content. Of course Seyco is here. I am their guest. Judy Gale Roberts Studio and Scroll Saw Association of the World(SAW) are both here, close to the Seyco booth. There are others and I will spend some time with them this weekend.
I had a nice conversation with Misty Valestin who is the President of Scroll Saw Association of the World(SAW) . SAW is an organization that has been instrumental in bringing scrollers together in several local chapters around the country. If you are interested in joining or starting a scroll saw club, SAW is the place to start. SAW has many other benefits that you should check out. It's important for communities to have an organization who can represent them and SAW is that organization for our community.
