This is a pretty large pattern. Your blank will need to be about 14" X 14". The pattern is broken up over four pages for both the fretwork and the backer board. I wanted a piece that was large enough to make a wall hanging. I contoured the backer board but you could just cut a rectangle backer board and frame the piece.
