Hand Cut Paper Cards on the Scroll Saw.



Using the method in this pattern book you can cut these (Boy/Girl) announcement cards up to twenty or more at a time. Using the sandwich stack cut method we can easily cut paper using Baltic birch plywood as the carrier. 

You can get razor sharp paper edges that look like they came off an expensive paper cutting machine. An advantage we have over those paper cutting machines is that we can cut multiples at once. If you need a box set of 25 cards then just make a stack of 25 and cut them out.

Here is a close up showing the edges of the paper cut right off the saw. Pretty impressive. I use a #2/0 or #1 blade for cleanest results. Make sure you are using high-quality card stock for the cards. I bought 12" X 12" sheets from Hobby Lobby's scrapbooking section. They were on sale for .39 a sheet.
