I could not get a good picture of this project. It does not look as blotchy in real life. The picture below is the project still on the saw and it shows the color better. The candle is a tea light candle.
If you have never cut compound cut scroll saw projects before I included complete instructions in the pattern.
Sometimes when I create a project I have a hard time judging if it stinks or not. As good practice I should create a project then let it sit for a couple days and look at it again. Time will often give a better perspective on the project. I rarely do that because I post every day.
I am having a hard time judging the looks of this project. I can see that the proportions are not very pleasing. The top is too large as compared to the bottom. I almost did not even post it but decided to put it out there and see if anyone downloads it. I'll just say that it has not grown on me yet. :) It's probably more interesting than it is pretty. You can judge for yourself.
