Circus Wagon Scroll Saw Pattern.

Important: This is a large project. If you do not watch the assembly video you will have trouble putting this Circus Wagon together. There are no instructions in the pattern book. The link to the video is below.

I wanted to do a larger pattern for you guys and this is what I have for you. The BigTop Circus is in town with their wild animal show. The two horse-drawn wagon train is almost 45 inches long. The wagon train consists of three wagons and two circus elephants. Each wagon has a wild animal and there are monkeys running around.

Like I mentioned yesterday. This is not a toy. It is not designed for children. It will break if handled roughly. This is a project to show off your scroll saw ability. The good news is that it is designed to be relatively easy to build. I built it in 6.5 hours. I then went back and added a few accessories that probably added another one or two hours. I built it in one session but that is not recommended. I would break it up into three or four sessions for casual cutting.

Most of the parts can be stack cut to speed up the process. I show everything you need to successfully complete the project in the video.

This is the glue used for this project. 18" BB play can be difficult to glue up. It just does not give you much room for clamps so slow drying glue does not work well. This CA glue with activator dries is two seconds so no clamping is necessary.

If you plan to build this project I highly recommend that you pick up a medium CA glue and a bottle of activator.

This is a heads up sent to me from a couple of my readers. Both Rockler and Grizzley Tools have the DeWalt DW788 with light and stand for $499.95/9.  I'm not sure how long these prices will last. This is a very good price for this saw. The Amazon price for this combination is $591.18. That is a large difference. If you are in the market for a nice scroll saw you should check out these deals.
