Fish Coat Hanger Scroll Saw Pattern.

Okay, fishermen and women. I designed this as a coat hanger but with a little modification, you could use it to hang fishing rods. This would look nice in your summer cabin down on the lake. You have one of those right?

Simple but Useful Tip:

Neodymium magnets can come in handy all over the shop. These super strong magnets come in many sizes and shapes. Click to see what Amazon has to offer in these magnets.

One useful place I use one of these magnets is to hold extra blades on the side of my scroll saw in easy reach. When I start a project I pull two or three extra blades out of their tubes and stick them to the magnet on the saw.

On the opposite side of the, saw I place another magnet. I keep a used blade there. I grab this used blade whenever a waste piece of wood gets stuck in the cutout. I poke the piece out with the used blade. This is a #5 or #7 so it's stiff enough to poke without bending.

Scroll Saw Chuck Heads by Pegas - Improve your Saw!

Upgrade your Scroll Saw with Pegas Blade Chuck Heads - 40% lighter, Less Vibration.

These new “Blade Chuck Heads” (also known as Blade Clamps) were developed in Switzerland by Pégas in association with the HEIG engineering school in Yverdon. The studies and the tests demonstrated that the weight of these heads is in direct relation with the service life and the vibrations of the machine.
