This Nativity Wall Art is 6.5" wide and 10.5 tall". This pattern should give you good practice cutting straight lines. Maybe more practice than you want. :)

When I design some patterns the thickness of the wood that I indicate is important. In cases like this pattern, I am just recommending a thickness but it is not necessary to complete the project. I am showing the backer board as 1/2" and the fretwork as 1/2". Neither of those dimensions is set in stone. You can use any wood you have on hand and even eliminate the backer board if you like.
