Santa Countdown Sign Scroll Saw Pattern.

Download Below

Are your children excited that Christmas is almost there? Let them count the days.

This Santa countdown sign is 10.5" wide. It can be cut from Baltic birch plywood. I am showing the backer board painted red. The number tags hand on either dowels or nails. The sign is set up for two digits. You could modify it for three digits but I doubt many people would use it for the entire year.

I did not add a base to the pattern but you could make a base or hang it on a wall.

Cutting Backer Boards:
The other days I showed an example of cutting a backer board where I stack cut the exterior of both the front and back. Then I removed the backer from the stack and cut the interior holes.

I received a few emails telling me that you can also cut the interior holes first then add the board for the backer and just stack cut the exterior. For some patterns, this is preferred because it is easier to cut the interior holes first. Either technique works.

Example of cutting the exterior first.
This gives less wood to hold while you
cut the interior holes.

Personalized Christmas Ornament Patterns:

I am still making good progress on ornament patterns. I should be able to get caught up today. If you have orders in the queue, keep your eye on your email inbox.

The price is $1 per name with a 5 name minimum. I keep the price as low as possible
because I want everyone to have a chance to make these ornaments for family and friends.

You only pay after you have received the order and are
100% satisfied with the patterns. Invoice included with
the pattern email. Pay by credit card(secure Paypal), check, or cash.

The patterns will be emailed to you after they are completed.
Please allow up to a week for delivery.

You can use last names on the ornaments if you like but remember that the more letters the more
difficult they are to cut. Ten letters and up gets pretty small. If you need to you can enlarge the patterns by 10% to make the interior cuts larger. No special characters are supported. I can get a hyphen in there but it looks odd. It has to connect the two letters so it does not just fall out.

Personalized Pet Christmas Ornaments Ready to Order:

Sorry I have been so slow getting these Personalized Pet Christmas Ornament patterns ready. The order form is now live. The patterns are $2 per name with no minimum. The order form will take up to five names. If you need more than that I just fill out a separate form.

The ornaments include the year but you can cut that part of the pattern off if you prefer them without the year.

When you cut the veining on the ornaments you can add a touch of glue to the back after the vein is cut. This helps add strength back if needed.

$12 per sheet of 12 coins plus $3.50 shipping
Inlay with a 1" Forstner Bit.
The perfect way to sign your work.

Triton TSPS450 450W / 3.5 Amp Oscillating Spindle Sander

I don't own this Triton spindle sander but I have received a few emails telling me it is nice. I own an older model Ryobi spindle sander that is no longer sold. I asked around for advice on which current models are liked best.

This Triton model looks exactly like the WEN model. I suspect they are the same but the weight is slightly different so they are not identical. The reviews for both are also similar. Do you like black or yellow? That is probably what the choice comes down to.

  • Ideal for sanding contours, arcs, curves & other irregular shapes

  • Powerful 3.5A (450W) motor No Load Speed - 2000 RPM Oscillation Speed - 58 OPM
