ADD YOUR OWN FAMILY NAME
Initials cutouts have been popular for some time. You can cut them from 1/4" Baltic birch plywood for a strong and inexpensive project.
This pattern book contains all 26 letters. They are full-page and ready to add a family name. In the video below I will show you how to add the name and make the pattern ready for print. The video uses Inkscape. Inkscape is a free program, available to Windows and Mac.
The letters are around eight inches tall. You may want to print them larger or take them to a print shop and have them enlarge them for you. If you have them print them on 11" X 17" paper you will have a large door hanging initial.
You can download Inkscape at this link. www.inkscape.org
Don't be intimidated by this process. The video tutorial is only a little over three minutes. There are very few steps involved. If you ever wanted to edit my patterns this is a good place to start.
