I also included a blank version of this sign design. For those of you who enjoy making your own sign patterns, this might come in handy. Remember that you can directly import my PDF patterns into Inkscape and edit them. Inkscape is free so the price is right. Yes, there is a learning curve but you need very few of the tools to add text to this pattern.

Video Below
I came across this video tonight and thought you might like to see it also. It is only a little over one minute so don't head to the kitchen for popcorn. The language under the video on YouTube is Malay. That makes me guess these men are in Malaysia or maybe Singapore.
This looks like a small family business producing crafts for the tourist trade. The boy is hand drawing the patterns. The man who might be the grandfather is on the scroll saw. The other adult could be the boy's dad(All guesses) is doing the carving. They appear to be sitting outside in front of their store.
I'm sure the lizards have some type of cultural significance but they are also beautiful works of art.
Crafts are important in every society. For some people, the urge to create is almost as strong as the urge to breathe. I am a strong believer that having a passion helps make living more enjoyable. For many of us, working with wood is that passion.
As wood crafters, we never need to be bored. There is always something we can make. It can be as simple or complex as we want. The scroll saw makes this all even easier. Even the smallest scraps of wood are just a few minutes away from being a gift that can brighten someone's day.
We are in a time of stress and loneliness for many people. Your passion and ability to make crafts can have a positive affect on those people who are feeling down. Go to the shop today and makes something to give as gifts to the people you care about. It is a win-win.

WEN 6510T 3.5 Amp Oscillating Spindle Sander,Black
The spindle sander is not the first sander you should buy if you are a scroller. I use my disc sander and mop sander more but I am happy I have the spindle sander when I need it. This WEN checks in under $130 so it won't break the bank and it gets decent reviews.
