It is estimated that roughly 45 million children in the US play an organized sport. Unfortunately, those numbers are declining slightly. Children are also less physically active than a few years ago. The last year has definitely not helped either of those numbers.
I played organized sports from elementary school through high school. Those are some of my best memories. My father passed away when I was very young and I think my coaches kind of filled that role.
With the right coaching, children can learn a lot of valuable life lessons. Sportsmanship, teamwork, hard work, and more.
Not every child will enjoy playing organized sports but if you have one that does then maybe this pattern is something they will enjoy hanging in their room. This would also make a nice gift for a coach.
The pattern is 11.5" wide and 10.25" tall. I am showing the simulated image with the backer board painted blue. My thought is that the player's team colors on the backer board would work nicely.
