The Word of God Scroll Saw Pattern.

The Word of God pattern is three 1/4" layers thick. The backer board is 8" tall.

Mary Ivett from Queensland Australia started scrolling a few months ago. She is self-taught from watching videos on YouTube, including some of mine. She found my blog and noticed the Gnome patterns I posted several weeks ago. She says she loved them so she made a set and entered then in a local art show.

She won first prize in her section and reserve champion of all woodwork. If you are going to start a new hobby, that is just about as good of a start as you can have.

When Mary sent me the photo I loved the wood choices she made. She used all Australian wood, kwila, huon pine, jacaranda, and camphor laurel. I think the wood adds a great deal of character to this project.
