This segmentation butterfly pattern comes in two sizes. The large pattern is ~10" wide and the smaller pattern is ~7.5" wide. You have two choices for this pattern. You can stack-cut two contrasting species of wood and combine the parts or you can stack-cut one board and paint/stain the parts.
If you do not like stack cutting then cut a single board and stain/paint the pieces like the image below.
