This layered bowl is just large enough to hold a few dog treats. All the parts except the ears are 3/4" thick. The ears are 1/4" thick. I have done a box similar to this in the past but this layered design is easier to cut.
You can also add a lid if you want. I did not include this in the pattern because it just needs to be cut to fit. I did include the pattern for the handle. I would also consider putting a decorative routed edge on the lid.
DeWalt Dw788 is priced at $399 on Amazon.
You never know how long prices on Amazon will last but the DeWalt is currently $399. This is a great value for a saw of this quality. I consider the DeWalt a mid-level saw but it has many of the features of a high-end saw.
The jump in quality and usability between any of the entry-level saws and the DeWalt is large. This saw is a joy to use and the quality is good enough for all but the most serious scrollers. If you have considered moving up from an entry-level saw this is a good choice.
