Second Pattern Today
I have two animal patterns for you today. The Horse Head is cut from 3/4" thick wood. The backer of the pattern is wide at close to 12" so you may need to glue up boards to get a piece that wide. All of the lighter wood are individual pieces that will be glued to the backer. Pay attention to the direction of the grain when you attach the pattern to the wood.
The Eagle pattern is two layers of 1/4" thick wood. Plywood is a good choice for this pattern. Guys, your wife probably won't appreciate you hanging this piece in her living room so maybe consider keeping it in your shop. 😁
