Patty and I spent the evening at our grandnephew's high school baseball game. It is amazing how much more mature they have become since Little League baseball. He is a freshman and at least 6'3" tall. The weather was perfect and we had a great time.

Today's pattern is "Little League Dreams". I have included two different ages for the patterns. Each pattern is 10.25" long. The pattern calls for 1/2" thick wood but 3/4" will work fine also.

Playing Little League Baseball offers young athletes more than just the thrill of the game—it builds character, teamwork, and resilience in a supportive environment. Through practice and competition, players develop fundamental skills like hand-eye coordination, strategic thinking, and discipline, all while fostering friendships that can last a lifetime. The sport teaches the value of perseverance, learning from mistakes, and celebrating victories big and small. Beyond physical benefits, Little League instills a sense of sportsmanship and responsibility, helping kids understand the importance of fair play and respect for others. Whether stepping up to bat or cheering from the dugout, every player grows in confidence and finds inspiration in the shared pursuit of teamwork and personal growth. (Source: Copilot)

DropIt Gravity Simulator.

This is more of a fidget toy than a game. You control the gravity, weight, and friction of different shapes. The shapes are dropped onto a platform and react to other shapes with a physics model. Use the "a, s, and d keys to rotate and drop the shape onto the platform. The shape is attached to the mouse pointer so you can control the position and height from which it is dropped. The attached shape can also be used to nudge the other shapes on the platform. Experiment and see what happens. See how many shapes you can get on the platform before they start falling off the end of the platform.
