I know, this is not a cow, it's a bull. I already had a bull box pattern, so this one got named cowbox.pdf.
The interior of the box is 7" long by 4.5" wide by 3" deep.

Let me tell you my bull story. First, I am a city boy. I have zero experience with farm animals. Several years ago, I was with a good friend, and his sister lived on a farm. We were visiting when her husband asked us to help him give the cattle their pink eye medicine. He had around 30 cows and one bull. He brought the cows through a wooden chute, and when they got to the end, he administered the medicine. I was helping keep them moving in the chute. All was going well, even though I was a little nervous.

The last animal through the chute was the bull. He walked to the end of the chute, and when he saw the farmer, he backed out. This happened a couple of times, and the farmer yelled over to me. He said take the 2x4 and shove it behind his butt when he gets in the chute. I was terrified, but not wanting to look silly, I did as the farmer asked. I shoved the 2x4 right behind the bull. I was so proud for about 5 seconds. Then the bull took a step backward and snapped that 2x4 in half. I was done. No way was I messing anywhere near that bull.

The farmer had other thoughts about the bull not getting his way. He grabbed what looked like pliers that had hooks on the end. He grabbed that bull by its nose, and the bull did everything the farmer wanted from that point on. Farmers are cut from different stock than we city folks.
