This Baby Doll Rocking Chair is about 12" tall and 5.25" wide. Just large enough to display a medium-sized doll. It is cut from 1/4" thick wood. As long as you get the slot and tabs fairly tight, the project should be easy to cut.
This is more for display than a toy. If I wanted to cut this as a toy, I would take the pattern to a print shop and have it enlarged 200% and then use 1.2" thick wood to make it stronger.
Some people have difficulty cutting the slot and tab construction. To get a nice, tight fit, you first need to measure the thickness of the wood you are using. That is critical because the pattern is designed to be exactly 1/4", and if your wood is off even a small amount, that will be a problem.
Once you have the wood measurement, you can compensate for any difference by marking a line on the pattern to account for it.
Start by cutting the slot. I normally cut just inside the lines. This helps make the joint tight. If it is too tight, you can sand the tab for a nice fit.
Cornhole Game
This game is played with your mouse on a PC, MAC or Linux computer. To throw the bean bag, you click on the screen and drag down and to the left to set the angle and power of the throw. The game is you VS the computer. The computer is very good, so on the start screen, set the difficulty to easy to have any chance to win. You are the blue player and go first. The computer is the red player.
Tip: To set the power, drag the mouse back until you have about a 6 or 7-inch shot line. Set the angle to around 45 degrees and see how you do. If you miss, adjust the power or angle until you start to get the feel for the shots. I can beat the Easy level. I have beaten the medium level a few times, but have never beaten the hard level. The computer is close to perfect at that level.
