This Jesus Saves Cross is about 12" tall, and the patterns call for 1/4" and 3/4" thick wood.
Jesus’ love for people is shown in how He welcomed the overlooked, forgave the guilty, healed the hurting, and stayed faithful even when it cost Him everything—love that isn’t based on someone’s status, past, or “how well they’re doing.” That matters because it changes how we see ourselves and others: you’re not just a mistake, a label, or a measuring stick—you’re worth pursuing, worth forgiving, worth restoring. It also gives a sturdy kind of hope; when life gets messy, or you feel unlovable, His love doesn’t wobble with the mood of the moment. And if that love is real, it’s not just comforting—it’s a call to live differently: to show mercy, practice patience, and treat people like they matter too.
The Snow Flake Snowman pattern is 8" wide and will look fun hanging in a window or on a door. The pattern is cut from 1/4" thick wood. Plywood will be a good choice. Add a little paint, and this should be a pretty easy pattern to cut.
Snowman Sam
For the little ones.
Snowman Sam went strolling out
To see what winter’s all about.
The wind went whoosh—the sky turned white,
And all his tracks were gone from sight.
“I’m brave,” said Sam, “I won’t just cry!”
(Though worried button eyes went wide.)
He hugged his scarf and looked ahead
For something warm to follow instead.
A porch light glowed through swirling snow,
A cozy dot of orange glow.
Sam smiled big—“That’s where I go!”
And found his yard beneath the snow.
Broken Ankle Update:
Two weeks ago, I got to take the boot off my foot. That was great until today. Today I had a follow-up appointment with the Ortho doctor for an X-ray to check the healing. Unfortunately, the fracture looked wider than the last X-rays showed. So I'm back in the boot and scheduled for a CAT scan so he can get a better look. If the separation is not connected at any point, it means surgery. Luckily, I am not having much pain, but he said that does not mean the fracture is healing, so we will see what the scan shows and go from there.
