Second Pattern Today
The first pattern above it a snowflake with letters. I did all 26 uppercase letters in the pattern. Each snowflake is about 6" wide. This means the CHRISTMAS cut will be in the 50" long range.
The Cowboy and horse is cut from 3/4" thick wood. The cowboy stands about 8" tall. It is difficult to see in the images, but there is several vein lines to add detail to the pattern.
I had an interesting event today. For the last four weeks, I have been limping on a sore right ankle. It is a little painful, but I suspected it was just some inflammation. Two weeks ago, I went to the doctor and asked her what she thought, and she was more worried about some other issues, so nothing happened with my ankle. A couple of days ago, I had a follow-up visit, and she decided to have some X-rays taken of my ankle because it was still pretty sore.
I got the X-ray results back today, and to my surprise, my ankle is fractured. I do not remember having any missteps, so I have no idea how it happened. She wants to send me to an Ortho doctor, so I have to make that appointment today sometime. There are a lot of good things about getting older, but health issues are not one of those good things. 😕
