Several of you have emailed me to say you still can't access parts of the blog. You still see the suspension notice page. The blog is back up and completely functional. here is a quick explanation of what is happening and how to solve it. As modern web browsers load pages from the web they have to download all the content from the host server to display the page. This includes the text, and the graphics. This takes a certain amount of time depending on how fast your connection is. This content is stored on your computer in a section called cache. The next time you visit that same page the browser looks at this local cache to see if it already has the content. If it does it can use the cached content instead of having to download it again from the remote server saving time and network congestion. Browsers use rules to decide if they should use the cache or look for fresh data. The rules can get complicated so I'll skip that part. Just understand that you may not always see the latest page in some cases. That's what is happening to those of you who are still seeing the suspension page. It is cached in your web browser. When you see the suspension page simply select refresh from your browser and it will force the browser to see if the content has changed. Once it sees that the content has changed it will download from the host server and display the page as expected.
