Some of us are getting to the age where we get to visit the Doctor more often. The nurses are usually your first contact when you get to the office. They can make a considerable difference in your visit just by being kind and professional. When I go to the doctor's office, I tend to have mild anxiety. Often time my blood pressure will be high if they take it when I first arrive. Then at the end of the visit, it will go down several points. Most of that is because the nurses are so kind and professional, which calms me down. If you have the same experience with kind and professional nurses, then take time to say Thank You to them.
This Thank You Nurse pattern is 10.25" tall. There are two layers. In the images above, I am showing a 1/4" thick front layer and a 1/2" thick backer. That is only a suggestion. Its fine to use 1/4" for both layers. You could also just skip the backer board and cut the front layer from 3/4" thick wood. You choose.
National Nurses Week was last month, so this pattern is a little late, but it's never too late to say Thank You.
