I have two patterns for you today. The Colt pistol is cut from 1/4" thick wood. It is a layered pattern. The simulated image has a metal spray paint texture that is optional. I did slightly modify the pattern after I rendered the images. The front site is now only on the center layer so it is thinner.
The pistol is 10.25" long.
The redneck guy is another kind of silly pattern but I kind of liked it when I completed the design. It was not intentional but he ended up looking like a couple people I know. Check out the photo of Hank Jr below. If you are a fan of Hank this pattern might work for you. It also kind of looks like a friend of mine with the initials CD.😎
He is over 20" tall and cut from 1/4" thick wood.
It kinda does look like him.
Not intentional

I have added several more games to the playground.
There are now eleven games in the playground that I am working on. My favorites are Connect4, Asteroid Dodge, Hang Man, and the Match Game. There are a few bugs but all the games are playable. Some will play on a PC and a tablet/smartphone, while others will only play on a PC because you need the keyboard. After you finish a game just hit the back button on the browser to go back to the menu.
Most of these games are child-friendly because they are easy. If the grandchildren come over it may keep them entertained for a couple minutes.

The USB drive contains all the Scrollsaw Workshop Patterns. The drive is $25 plus shipping and handling. Now with the new distributor the drive ships to the US and many other countries. The shipping can get expensive to some international locations so the Instant download option above is probably more desirable.

Some of you have difficulty sourcing wood thinner than 3/4" thick. Both projects use 3/4" thick wood. The stork will need a board that is a little over 7" wide and the gnome will need a little over 8" wide. If that is a problem consider gluing up two boards. There is also no layering for either pattern.

Think Safety
Remember to keep the safety of yourself and others in your work shop in your thoughts at all times. Always wear eye and ear protection. Follow all the manufactures warnings that came with your power tools. If I demonstrate something on this web site that you don't feel is safe, don't do it. Your safety is your responsibility. Fingers are handy things, try to keep all of them.
