Easter Island Moai Statue

There are over 900 Moai on Easter Island. The average size is 13 feet tall and 14 tons. The largest unfinished Moai is nearly 70 feet tall and has an estimated weight of 160 tons.
The world has many amazing examples of incredible feats of ancient technology that we have difficulty explaining. The people who carved these Moai had no metal tools or wheels for moving the large statues.
This project is 9.5" tall and does not weigh 14 tons. All the parts are cut from 3/4" thick wood except the forehead. It needed to be 1/4" thick.
Most of the stone-textured spray paints are for interior use only but I think these guys would look cool in a garden. Maybe an overcoat of lacquer would give it enough protection for outdoor use.
It might also be cool to use the wood-cut statue to make a mold for a concrete pour. Just a thought.
