I have two patterns for you today. The duck box is 9.5" long and cut from 1/4" and 3/4" wood.
The dishwasher slider is a neat idea. Not my idea but I saw something similar and decided to make my own pattern. When you start the washer you slide the slider to clean. I don't know how useful it is but I liked it so I made it. When you unload the dishwasher just slide it back to dirty.
Aging Cherry Wood Technique from the Sawdust and Splinters YouTube Channel.
I had not seen this aging technique before so I wanted to share the video with you all. Skyler uses a specific drain cleaner to achieve years of cherry wood aging in only minutes. You may know that cherry wood changes color drastically over the years. Especially if it sits in the sun. Skyler turns that time into minutes.

JUST A REMINDER:
The Holiday season is very busy for my blog. I do my best to keep up with my email but frankly, it is just not possible. I limit my email to two hours a day. I will miss some emails. My priorities are getting orders shipped and answering customer emails. Even those can be slow. I generally do not respond to requests for personal patterns. Don't hesitate to send me an email. Just understand that it is really busy now. Thanks for your understanding.

Let me start out with this information. When I was drawing this Eiffel Tower pattern I did not attempt to make a realistic pattern. This is a decorative design. Adding realism would be fun but also make the pattern difficult and large.
The tower stands 14.25" tall and is cut from 1/4" thick wood. The tower pieces will be somewhat delicate until you get them glued together.

Think Safety
Remember to keep the safety of yourself and others in your work shop in your thoughts at all times. Always wear eye and ear protection. Follow all the manufactures warnings that came with your power tools. If I demonstrate something on this web site that you don't feel is safe, don't do it. Your safety is your responsibility. Fingers are handy things, try to keep all of them.
