Note in a Bottle Scroll Saw Pattern.

Download Below

Note in a bottle. Some ideas are probably best left unhatched. :) This pattern just might be one of those ideas. I don't care. It made me laugh. I do tend to laugh at dumb stuff. After I had the idea for a note in a bottle pattern I had to come up with the words for the note.

I wrote down a few ideas and they were all dumber than this one. I know that's hard to believe but they were just silly. This one may be silly but I have friends who just might send out this note if stranded. I probably need different friends.

Even if you would never cut this pattern and think it is the dumbest pattern you have seen, do me a favor. Download the pattern. When my wife sees this post she will tell me how dumb it was. If it has thousands of downloads I can tell her she just does not have a sense of humor but my readers do. Don't worry she never actually reads my posts. She just looks at the pictures and makes comments.

Great price on a shop apron: I own two now and have purchased three others over the years.

Currently $15.98

There are several products on Amazon that I keep an eye on the price. When they go on sale I will often buy one if I think I may need it soon. One of those products is this Bucket Boss Shop apron. These aprons are very nice quality for a very low price. I have a bad habit of wiping the glue from my fingers on the apron. After several months they get pretty rough. At this price, I don't even worry about it.

This is not the cheapest I have seen this apron but at $15.98 it is still a great buy. If you want to see how strange Amazon can be, look at the sales page. You can buy a 1 pack, 2 pack, or 3 pack. 1 pack is priced at 15.98. A 2 pack $92.36 and a 3 pack is $138.55. Figure those prices out! Maybe it is an error because $46 for a single apron would not be that out of the norm.

The canvas this apron is made from is reasonably heavy duty. Not as heavy as a leather apron but they cost close to $100. I won't spend that much on an apron that I am going to smear glue on.

The apron has decent sized pockets. It does not have hammer straps or other large tool carrying abilities but I don't need those.

The straps are adjustable up to a 52-inch waist. The straps have quick-release buckles which are convenient. They are plastic but I have not had one break yet and I have purchased five of these aprons.

The shoulder straps are padded and not uncomfortable. The pads are not very thick but they seem to be enough that I don't get discomfort from them.

I wear an apron when I am in my shop. It is a habit I started several years ago. I keep my dust collection remote switches attached to the straps. I keep my pencils and other small useful items in the pockets so I never have to go looking for them. A six-inch rule is always nice to have at hand.

The apron will protect you from spills, glue smears, spray finish and paint. At $15.98 if this apron saves one shirt or pair of pants it has paid for its self.
