Need a small table saw for your scroll saw workshop. Many of us have small spaces for out hobby. These compact saws are ideal for cutting boards to size. You can easily store it out of the way when finished. This is the older model at a considerable cost savings. You can check out the newer model from this link also.
Shameless plug ahead: I may be biased. Okay I am biased but I believe my Wooden Vases on the Scroll Saw books are one of the best values around. Each book has 8 unique vase patterns for only $12 per book. They are an instant download immediately after payment. No waiting and easy to print.
The vases are not difficult to make. The most challenging part is the sanding and that is just because it takes a some time. I truly believe these are unique pieces of art that will make a special Christmas gift.
There is a pattern for just about any taste in these two books. The vases vary in size so you can practice on a small pattern then jump into the larger ones. Please take a minute to go to the order page and check out the video. Once you see how easy they are I hope you will give them a try. Thanks for taking a look.

If you are having trouble keeping the blade on the pattern line you may need a better look. Mount this magnifying lamp to your saw and the blade will be crystal clear. Do yourself a favor and don't buy a cheap magnifier. They will distort the view and just make things worse.

This Fairy holding a butterfly will give you a bit of a challenge. The flowers and stems will be fragile until you get it mounted to the backer board. Take your time and pick the interior cuts strategically. Save the interior cuts that have the stems with buds until last. Be careful where you hold the piece while you make the cuts.

Rest in peace Mom. My family and I laid my mother to rest today in a small gathering of family and friends. We traveled to New Castle Indiana, where my grandparents are buried, and had the services. My mother was 82. I had mentioned earlier in the week that we had a death in the family and several of you sent nice emails of sympathy. Thank you for the kind and thoughtful words and prayers.
I know you understand that my time with the blog has been limited. I will be trying to get caught back up in the next couple of days. I will focus on the Personalized Christmas ornament patterns first then the email backlog.
I will probably be able to get the ornaments out sometime today for those who are waiting.
