Happy Birthday Jesus Scroll Saw Pattern.

http://www.stevedgood.com/estore/estore.html
This Nativity scene is 9 inches tall and 8 inches wide. There are some thin sections to cut in this pattern. There is problem that can develop with these thin sections. If your blade does not run true and 90 degrees to the table the thin sections can break out. Here are some things to look out for.

Before you start check that the blade is exactly 90 degrees to the table. You can use a small square or a small protractor behind the blade to check. There is also a technique where you cut a line in the edge of a thick board. Then turn the wood to the back of the blade and see if the back of the blade lines up with the cut. If it does the blade is square.

Make sure the blade has proper tension. Scrollers have a tendency to under tension the blade. Kick it up a little and see if it helps.

Use a good sharp blade. Buy good quality blades and replace them when they start to get dull. Scroll saw blades are not a good place to try to save money.

If the blade is dull you will have a tendency to push too hard. This can cause the blade to bend and cut in an arc from to to bottom. Release your grip on the wood every so often and let the blade settle straight up and down.

Don't try to do this type of pattern in difficult to cut wood. Avoid very hard woods like hard maple and open grain woods like red oak.

I am running about three days right now getting the Personalized Christmas Ornament Patterns out. I'm going to put in a few extra hours today and try to get caught up.

Important Information: If you do not receive your order in a reasonable amount of time please check your spam folder. Many email clients try to guess at which emails are spam. They don't always get it right. I have had customers wait two or three weeks and send me an email wanting to know where there patterns are. They are almost always in the spam folder. Email me if they are not there and I'll send them again.

Another thing that has happened a few times is thet it was not realized that the patterns are attached to the invoice I send for payment. You do not have to pay before you get the ornaments. You only pay after you are satisfied. look for the attachment.
