The Pirate pattern is 10" tall and has 3 layers.
The Cameo jewelry box is 8" X 8". The center section has two 3/4" thick layers to give the box extra depth. The lid has a unique retaining part. The center diamond shape locks into the cutout to hold the lid in place. The easiest way to get this lined up is to complete the center section and place it on top of the lid. Make sure they are lined up and drop the retainer in with glue. This should give good alignment.

The Happy Holidays box/basket is 9" long and 6.5" tall. It is large enough to hold holiday candy and treats. It is slot and tab construction and cut from 1/4" thick wood.
The second pattern is another of what I call a single-board basket. The rings are all cut from a single
1/4" thick board. You will actually need another board for the top and bottom pieces.

Folks, I am further behind right now than I have been in the 17 years I have been writing this blog. The time in the hospital was a nuance but the recovery time is the problem. Getting old throws a big monkey wrench in the works when it comes to healing. I am lucky that I do not have much pain but my stamina is way low still. I am working on orders but I just cannot complete very many at a time.
I am working on an online app that hopefully will let you add the name to the Personalized Ornaments yourself. If that is something you would be interested in I am trying to make it happen. I almost have it working but last-minute bugs can throw time off so I don't want to commit to it yet. I will continue to do the Personalized ornaments for those who want me to do them
This time of year is the most enjoyable time for me. Even though I am way behind I am still enjoying the season. I just ask that you be patient with me as I try to catch up.
I am down to 84 orders of Ornaments and 10 signature coin orders. Normally I could knock those out in a day or two so with luck I can get back on track soon.
Enjoy today's patterns and I appreciate all of you.

Think Safety
Remember to keep the safety of yourself and others in your work shop in your thoughts at all times. Always wear eye and ear protection. Follow all the manufactures warnings that came with your power tools. If I demonstrate something on this web site that you don't feel is safe, don't do it. Your safety is your responsibility. Fingers are handy things, try to keep all of them.
