I love sitting in our backyard watching the wooden area behind our yard. The birds and other animals are fascinating. Last Fall I even spotted a large cat that I later found out was a bobcat. He was inside our fence when I first saw him but took off quickly when my dog spotted him. He literally jumped over the fence. Remember that I have always been a city boy until we moved here to Southern Indiana. We are out in the county so I am experiencing all types of things that I have never seen up close. I was not certain what I had seen until my neighbor later took a picture of the cat.
These signs are just over 13" wide. If you use them outdoors then finish them with an exterior finish. You should consider exterior-grade glue for attaching the backer board. It is probably also a good extra precaution to use a few brad nails.
This started out as a "Welcome to our Yard" pattern but I also added a "Welcome to our Camp" pattern later. The Adirondack chairs probably don't match the Camp sign very well but you can decide if it works.

The bible stand project is 10" wide and 8" tall. It is cut from 1/2" thick wood. Many families have bibles that have been passed down through the years. It is nice to have them displayed so the family has the opportunity to enjoy them. With some exceptions, it is safe to display the bible in the open but you do want to keep it out of the sunlight and away from very young children without adult supervision.
The Valentine's Love Couple is cut from 1/4" thick wood. It is a small easy-to-cut pattern standing about 7.5" tall. You could easily customize this pattern with names. Change the bass to a rectangle and use my

Think Safety
Remember to keep the safety of yourself and others in your work shop in your thoughts at all times. Always wear eye and ear protection. Follow all the manufactures warnings that came with your power tools. If I demonstrate something on this web site that you don't feel is safe, don't do it. Your safety is your responsibility. Fingers are handy things, try to keep all of them.
