I hope everyone is having a great weekend. I am trying to spend time in the shop today. It seems like I spend more time cleaning the workshop than actually getting any work done. I am always amazed how fast the dust collector fills up. I primarily use the dust collection on the table saw, planer and jointer. It does not take a lot of planing to fill the bag up.
Here is a pattern of praying hands. I had a request for this pattern. They are going to use the hands as a centerpiece at a reception. There is quite a bit of veining work in this pattern. Take your time when you are backing the blade out of a deep vein. If you twist too much you might break the project.

Think Safety
Remember to keep the safety of yourself and others in your work shop in your thoughts at all times. Always wear eye and ear protection. Follow all the manufactures warnings that came with your power tools. If I demonstrate something on this web site that you don't feel is safe, don't do it. Your safety is your responsibility. Fingers are handy things, try to keep all of them.
