Santa may live in the north but he can have a little southern charm also. This Santa pattern
is ~10" tall. This is another one of those projects that you could cut from cheaper material and paint.
I forgot to mention one important tip about yesterday's pattern. It was cut from MDF. You should always wear a dust mask when you are cutting but it's especially critical when cutting MDF. The dust from MDF is tiny and floats in the air for a long time. MDF can cause health problems when taken into the lungs. MDF is safe to use if you protect yourself. A dust mask is cheaper than new lungs so wear one.
It's also a good idea to use an air cleaner if you can afford one. The Wen 3410 gets very good reviews and is relatively inexpensive compared to other shop air cleaners. It's currently $111 on Amazon.
I just now placed an order for one. I should have it by Friday if the shipping does not get delayed. My Shop Vac brand air cleaner works okay but it is not timer controlled which is a feature I want. I figured I would give my lungs a Christmas gift and have a new product to review for you folks.
