Two Patterns Today
Click to EnlargeSanta needs some help this Christmas so he hired St. Jolly the Gnome. The St. Jolly pattern comes in three sizes. The large pattern is 10" tall, the Medium is 7" tall, and the small is 6" tall. All the patterns call for 1/4" thick wood but use what you have available.
Here is a Statistic that I am proud of. It has been 6,044 days since I wrote my first blog post in 2007. I have posted a pattern on 5,228 of those days. When I started the blog I never expected anyone to show up. I was just playing with the blogging software. Since 2016 I have done this full-time. It has never felt like real work. I have all of you to thank for allowing me to do what I obviously love to do. I am a very lucky guy. Thank you for being here.
Greats Tips from Luther over at Luthers Woodworking YouTube Channel.
I have always been lucky to have scrollers from all over demonstrate my patterns on YouTube. These folks bring in more subscribers to my blog and new scrollers into the hobby. There are a lot of talented wood crafters on YouTube and I learn new techniques and get great advice from them often.
Luther, over at the Luthers Woodworking YouTube channel has cut many of my patterns and always does a nice job giving tips and inspiration. I truly appreciate the shout-out he gives me in the videos.
In this video Luther gives tips on improvising a pattern of mine he did a while back. Many of these tips can be used on many patterns so I wanted to share his video with you all. Please consider clicking the thumbs up under the video, leave a comment, and subscribe if you like what you see. When you click the video link below you will be sent to his YouTube channel showing this video.
