My Latest Health Update
Friday was my latest doctor visit for my broken ankle. On top of that, I saw a knee doctor for a slightly torn meniscus in the same knee as my broken ankle. My knee is more sore than my ankle, but there is relatively good news about my knee. The tear that was diagnosed 6 months ago has not gotten worse. The reason for the pain is the stress of the boot I have to wear for my ankle to heal.
I have been in the boot and on crutches for five weeks, and the ankle doctor said to wear the boot one more week, then take it off. See how it goes for one week, then go back for more X-rays to check the healing. Not too bad a diagnosis as long as my knee heals after I get out of the boot for a few days.
