YouTube Video by "2 Hands Maximum Effort"

When I run across a video on YouTube video that I enjoy I like to share it with you all. This gentleman with the Channel name "2 Hands Maximum Effort" builds a large scroll saw box.

He does a nice job on the box but what I enjoyed the most was the actual build process. When you watch the video you can feel the enjoyment he is getting from making something with his own hands in his own workshop. I know all of you can relate to that feeling. That's the feeling that makes most of us do this hobby.

I think it's also really cool that he is building a Tribal themed box and he has this fantastic tribal tattoo on his arm.  The video is about 14 minutes long. He does show the flocking technique at the end of the video. If you have never done any flocking you can see the process.

Dice Tower Scroll Saw Pattern.

http://www.stevedgood.com/estore/estore.html
Dies your family play board game that require dice rolls. This dice tower will make a nice additions to those games. When you drop the dice in the top of the tower they hit three chutes for a clean roll. The dice then fall into the tray where they are contained. No more dice on the floor.

The tower stores flat in the tray by laying it on it's back.

Watch the video to see the tower in action.

The video is 48 seconds long.

Assembly Steps:

To save money I suggest making this from 1/4" and 1/2" Baltic birch plywood.
I used walnut for mine which looks nice but costs more.
Cut the parts
Glue the chutes to one of the sides.
Glue on the other side.
Glue on the back.
Glue on the front.
 Glue on the decorations.
Glue the bottom retainer wall to the bottom.
I used 1/4" thick wood for the walls in the picture above.
I changed it to 1/2" in the patterns so the dice can't jump the walls so easy.
Clamp and let the glue dry.
Sand and finish.
Install red felt in the tray.
