I'm not going to tell you that this is an easy project to cut because it is not. The parts are small and the registration of the axle holes is somewhat critical. It probably took me an hour and a half to cut and assemble. There are only six parts so most of the time was being careful cutting the gears accurately and getting the axle holes lined up.
The one you see in the photos is the small pattern that is designed as a pendant. It is cut from 1/8" thick wood. I also included a larger version cut from 1/4" thick wood. It is twice as big and easier to cut. It is not designed as a pendant. It is just a conversation piece.
I used BB plywood but these would look cool cut from a nice hardwood.
