You may have heard me mention that I design my patterns in CorelDraw. I have used CorelDraw almost daily for over ten years. I know the program pretty well but I recently met Doug Green, online and discovered how much I still have to learn.
Doug primarily works with the laser cutter community. CorelDraw is a common design tool for people who do laser work.
Basket weave patterns take a few operations to complete in CorelDraw. I have never been satisfied with my results so I ask Doug what his procedure would be. He was kind enough to explain how he would go about it. I took his suggestions and designed this pattern. His technique gives me a few more options so I'll probably be experimenting this week to see how far I can take it.
I though some of you might like another basket pattern so I decided to post this test. It turned out nice but I still want to experiment with the corners. They are not exactly what I want.
