"Love More, Worry Less" Scroll Saw Pattern.

I'm on vacations this week. So far I have spent most of my time cleaning and updating the shop. Every few months I power up my large air compressor and blow the dust out. Then I kill any rust that has popped out on my power tools. My jointer sits close the the over head door and tends to have more rust than the other tools. I use a combination of chemicals and elbow grease to knock the rust back.

I built a sand paper tower to hold my collections of sand paper. I have wanted one for  a while now but never go around to building it. It's pretty basic but holds everything neatly. I built it from 1/2" and 1/4 plywood. I has slots for seven grits of full sheet paper and extra room on the bottom and top shelf. I was going to french cleat it to the wall but I could not find an empty spot. My garage workshop runeth over.

I have a portable AC in the shop and it needed better casters so that was on my to-do list. I scratched that off. I installed power cord runners on a couple of cords that cross my walk path. I taped them down. I think I have tripped over one of those cord fifty times. Hopefully that takes care of that.

Another dreaded job that I usually put off until it's too late is to empty the dust collector and cyclone. I took out three large trash bags of dust this time. It's a shame we can't press that dust back in to boards.

Tomorrow I want to work on a video about sanding scroll saw projects. While I was cleaning I realized just how many different tools I have just to sand wood. I hate sanding. On days when I don't hate sanding I despise sanding.
