3D Lizard Scroll Saw Pattern.

I have designed scroll saw patterns almost every day for the last 14 years. I normally sit down around midnight and start trying to decide what the subject of the pattern will be. Sometimes it will have a theme such as a holiday and sometimes it is just totally random.

Today's pattern is just totally random. I had the clipart in the image below and wanted to see what I could do with it. I played around with a few designs and then settled on making a simple 3D version of the pattern.

When I am designing a random pattern like this lizard I'm not thinking "Who will want to cut this?", "Will anyone have a use for this pattern?". I am just having fun designing the pattern to see what I can make happen. That is the trick to not getting burned out when you do something as long and as often as I have been designing patterns.

If no one cuts this pattern I still had fun making it. Sometimes I make a strange, random pattern and it gets a huge number of downloads. Sometimes not so many. I can rarely guess which patterns will get big numbers.

So the moral of this story is that I sometimes make strange patterns. If it is not your cup of tea then there is good news. I will make another pattern tomorrow.  :)

Order your Personalized Christmas Ornament Patterns:

Personalized Christmas Ornament patterns are $1 each with a five ornament minimum. Each additional name adds an extra $1 to the total. 5 ornaments = $5. 20 ornaments = $20.

After you place the order I will complete the patterns and email them to you with a payment invoice. You have to be completely satisfied before you pay.

I do not offer blank patterns. This is one of the ways I support what I do. I ask that you please not use the template to create your own custom name patterns.

My goal is to have the orders complete in three days. I will keep you posted if there are delays.

Amazon's price is down a couple of dollars today for the DeWalt. $538.99. That is not much of a drop in price but in today's market, any drop in price is nice to see. Everything seems to be going the opposite direction.

Movie Time Sign Scroll Saw Pattern.

Add a custom Family Name Sign(Not Included)

Movie night has become more popular with all the chaos in the last couple of years. Many families have set up rooms just to watch movies. Large screen televisions and inexpensive projectors have made the experience even more theatre-like.

This pattern is three layers thick. Each layer is 1/4" thick. You can add a family name sign to customize the project. The sign is 10" X 8"

I just purchased an HD Projector from Walmart. It was only $240 so I really did not expect too much. I was wrong. In a semi-dark room, the picture is very good. The colors are saturated and the contrast is decent but not great. I installed it in my basement and have a 10-foot screen for movies and sports. I have a walk-out basement with big windows. I installed blackout curtains so I could watch during the day. I am already thinking about upgrading because I like it so much. I'm pretty cheap so I will probably make do. I will get a screen to make the image better. I am projecting on the wall right now.

This is not an affiliate link. I bought the Vankyo V630W. It is a native 1080P projector. This is important because some ads say 1080P compatible. These are lower resolution projects but will play 1080P just at a reduced resolution. In my research, I found that trusting the specs in the ad is quest
