God Bless this Home. With the world struggling with current events we need all the blessings we can get. Christmas is just around the corner. Many people are going to feel the pain of missing being able to get together with extended family. Let's all try to make sure we reach out to family and friends even if we can't do it in person.

Patty, Holly, and I will be celebrating Christmas at home together this year. I cannot remember a time when we were not traveling for Christmas. We always go back home to Indiana to be with family. I will miss that visit very much but I have to keep my family as safe as possible.

I do have some good news. My daughter and her husband are taking several days off of work. They will get tested and then quarantine for several days. About a week after Christmas we will all get together for a much-needed dinner together at their house. I can't tell you how much it means to my wife and me that they are willing to do this for us. That will be the best present I get this year.
