May he rest in peace. Spooky !!!

In an effort to keep the daily post smaller I have set up this eStore for The Custom Name Ornaments and Wreaths. You can also find the other products I sell at this page. If you are new to my page please click this link and check out what I have to offer.

Just in time for the ghouls and goblins I have Mr. Bones for your scrolling pleasure. The skeleton is not as fragile as he looks but I do recommend 1/4" thick Baltic Birch plywood. It is very stable and you don't have to worry with the grain breaking a piece off.

I used a #3 scroll reverse blade and took my time. Just use good scrolling technique and it's not that bad. If you are new to scrolling don't pass this project up. If you break off an arm just throw it in the coffin and tell everyone Mr. Bones came to a terrible and brutal death. What other project can you break and it won't matter?

I completed this project on the new Jet scroll saw. I have completed two full projects on the machine now. I plan to do some stress tests tomorrow and then I should be ready to do the full review video. Look for that no latter than this weekend.

I did ask about the Woodworkers Guild of America Blogger Awards rules. Several people ask if they can vote more than once. The official answer is no. Only one vote per person.

In the spirit of Halloween I ask if deceased persons could cast a vote. They said that was only allowed if they were not already registered to vote in the current general election. Scratch that idea.

I tried to hire some goons to extort votes but they were all booked up. Scratch that idea.

I tried to start a PAC(Political Action Committee) to help me get out the vote. When I told them "all my readers are good honest down to earth people" the committee chairman said that left very little to work with and resigned. Scratch that idea.

This election stuff is tough business.

If you have not voted and are currently alive I would really appreciate the support. Just click the link below.

Think Safety

Remember to keep the safety of yourself and others in your work shop in your thoughts at all times. Always wear eye and ear protection. Follow all the manufactures warnings that came with your power tools. If I demonstrate something on this web site that you don't feel is safe, don't do it. Your safety is your responsibility. Fingers are handy things, try to keep all of them.
