I cut the first project in my new partially set up workshop. All I have right now are two scroll saw and a table saw. No sanding station or finishing station so the project is raw. I also do not have my photo tent set up so the photos are just on a shelf.

This tractor-trailer is cut from 3/4" thick wood.

I also included the same pattern with no text. You can use the blank to customize with a driver's name. I know that some drivers name their trucks so you could add that as an option.

Truck drivers are more important than ever with the supply chain shortages happening now. An article I read said that drivers are in short supply right now. That is pretty much true for all jobs but truckers keep food on our table and supplies on the shelves.

The article suggested that drivers are seeing increased pay but that has not solved the driver shortage issue. The theory is that the drivers are using the increased pay to eliminate some of the long hours and spending more time at home. Some drivers are gone for weeks at a time. It is easy to see why they would need a break.

If you know a trucker, take some time to thank them for all the long hours on the road to keep out economy moving.
