The annual Albury-Wodonga scroll saw weekend in Australia was last weekend. Jutta always keeps me updated on the event with pictures and a write up. They had several new scrollers this year which made the weekend even more fun as everyone pitched in with tips and hints for them.
One of the best parts about any hobby is getting to get together with friends who also share your interests. You can learn so much from others experience. Being able to help new hobbyist get started is also rewarding and fun.
I wanted to share a few of the pictures Jutta sent me. Just look at all the smiling faces. Looks like a great time. Thanks Jutta and hello to all my friends down under. Wish I could have been there with you guys. Maybe someday.
Here is a link to the writeup about the event. Download.

Think Safety
Remember to keep the safety of yourself and others in your work shop in your thoughts at all times. Always wear eye and ear protection. Follow all the manufactures warnings that came with your power tools. If I demonstrate something on this web site that you don't feel is safe, don't do it. Your safety is your responsibility. Fingers are handy things, try to keep all of them.
